I find it difficult to start reading a book and seeing it through to the end. However, once I picked up this book I found myself having a rather hard time putting it down. I highly recommend this book to anybody. I thoroughly enjoyed every single story in this book and I loved expecting the unexpected within the stories. I can confidently say this is by far one of my favorite books!

Mr. Parece never disappoints! What a collection! My favorites were between "The Lady in Yellow" and "Calvin" but the rest were just as good. All in all, every single one was gripping and I had a hard time tearing myself away to rejoin reality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty of action in these stories of evil on the loose

In some ways, this anthology of stories is different from Mr. Parece’s previous works... However, in many ways it’s what we’ve come to like in his work. There is plenty of action and relatable characters that often face different facets of evil on this Earth (e.g., direct confrontation, tortured memories, unexpected obstacles, subterfuge, moral dilemmas) with plenty of twists/turns along the way... I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
